Founder of bling on the divas, Kelly Grady, grew up in LeMars, Iowa and received her teaching degree from Iowa State University. Teaching kindergarten was great, but it didn’t pay the bills. While her husband attended chiropractic school, she worked a second job in a jewelry store to help with the family finances.
They moved to Colorado and decided that making a fixed income and not being able to travel when they wanted was hard, so she created Tender Loving Carats and became a jewelry broker. It started with selling sterling silver to teachers, friends, and family, then she branched out into diamonds and fine jewelry and quit her teaching job to work from home.
The Gradys never planned on having kids, but that idea changed in an instant. They were mentors to two teenage boys and when their foster mom quit, the Gradys adopted them. Instant family! Since Kelly worked from home, she had time to help them with homework, go to their sporting events, travel, spend time with their dogs, and work when she wanted.
People would always say, “I love your business. I wish I could do what you do!” That’s when bling on the divas was born! Bling focuses on saving people money on quality fine jewelry, with low overhead, and growth through referrals. Her mission is to help men and women love their careers, create the business of their dreams, and succeed in the same way she did.
